Have No Doubt of the Omnipotence of a Free People — Satellite Exhibition at POINT

Presented at POINT, the satellite chapter of Have No Doubt of the Omnipotence of a Free People expands the material and conceptual framework of the larger research-driven project, foregrounding the entangled political and cultural histories of Romania and Zimbabwe. Through a constellation of historical and contemporary artworks, archival documents, and oral histories, the exhibition traces how artistic practices have functioned as tools of solidarity, resistance, and critical reflection across shifting ideological landscapes. By situating creative production within broader geopolitical transformations, the exhibition examines how past alliances continue to shape contemporary imaginaries of freedom, justice, and self-determination—inviting viewers to reflect on the afterlives of revolutionary ideals and the complex ways history resonates in the present.
